January Cheese - House Mix
January 23rd, 2010
After a couple of weeks of full-on work, I got a chance to do a mix. I picked some of the house tunues I’ve been buying in the last year or so. Did the mix twice to get acceptable results. Only a few minor glitches in this one. Let me know what you think and drop me a line if you want the tracklisting.

Socialism explained
November 14th, 2009
From an article on rense.com:
A sociology teacher once failed a whole class because they insisted that socialism worked. He averaged out their exam grades over a year which resulted in the whole class wroking less and less each time they took an exam.

Here’s a quote from the same article:
You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

A conversation
September 12th, 2009
Was looking through Ted talks the other night and ended up watching a couple of talks by Jonathan Harris. I really didn’t like him at first, probably because he’s young, extremely intelligent and actually uses his skills for doing something worth while and I certainly don’t!. But as I watched his second talk I began to understand a little about him and what he’s trying to do.
While browsing JH’s website I came across one of his projects called Sputnik Observatory. The first video I happened to click on was this one below. Absolutely fascinating.
